The theme that connects my past, present, and future is the passion I have for wanting to help others. The joy I get from helping others is the reason I want to work with special needs children when I am older. Knowing that I can make a difference in just one persons life is enough for me to stay devoted to my studies and is the reason I picked the major I am in. In the past I have witnessed people going out of their way to help someone with a disability feel welcomed and accepted in our classroom. In my present I study early childhood and special education in hopes that one day I will be able to help someone and make them smile they same way I have witnessed so many others do. In the future I hope to influence the lives of many children to the best of my ability. I hope to change their future in the most positive way.
